Ramiro was a guide on my recent trip to Iceland. He is a very nice and attentive knowledgeable person, who proactively supported the group members and showed a constant interest in our welfare and helping us to improve our shots.

You could ask him almost anything about photography, to which he willingly responded, even in-depth. While shooting, you did not even need to ask him. It was Ramiro, who was constantly looking over our shoulders and suggesting improvements.

When we went to a cave of the Vatnajökull glacier, I had forgotten my camera in the bus, and he even offered me his second one, so I could still make some wonderful shots.

Without any doubt, I can fully recommend Ramiro, and may be soon joining him in another workshop or trip.

The landscapes were absolutely astonishing, the learning was incredible, and Rami is truly the best guide and person I’ve ever met. I hope I can join another trip with his company soon.

I was part of Ramiro’s Patagonia workshop in April 2025. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Patagonia has been in our bucket list for several years. Seeing millions of pictures of el Chalten, almost made it a sacred altar to us. Dreaming of seeing Mount Fitz Roy with our own eyes became true when Ramiro announced his Patagonian workshop this year. Although we tried to time it last year but it could not happen in time. But this year we finally made it. Now about the workshop- you get more than you sign up for, we had 6 days of funfilled days of hike, majestic views, secret view points, and on top of everything a friend who can guide you patiently and teach you seeing new compositions, angles and style relentlessly. Ramiro works with clock and I really think he is allergic to sitting idle. When after a grueling hike we were recouping, he was busy making us either hot coffee, nice breakfasts or some time preparing charcuterie with Argentinian Malbec. He and the mountain guide made our stay in the wilderness for 4 nights a really pleasant experience. It was a dream come true for us, and thanks Ramiro for making it happen.

It was a wonderful experience for me, I learned a lot about photography techniques, learned the best spots in the area and the best timings for taking great shots of the area even though I didn’t have a professional camera, just my phone and a gimbal camera.

I don’t really have the words to describe what this tour was like. Ramiro was extremely professional and hands on with all participants instructing and teaching. The hikes and scenery were beyond description. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is wanting to not just learn landscape photography but also anyone needing a refresh in nature. 10/10, would go again.

It was a wonderful trip both the scenery and itinerary. We got to experience the true Patagonia nature could provide with the season, sunrise, sunset, astronomy photography, hiking the up and down hill. Ramiro is a great photographer and guide, very organized thoughtful and kind.

I was looking to visit Patagonia for a while and was searching for an adventure type/photography. This trip definitely had all the elements and at the same time being well organized, safe and great company with Ramiro who’s been exploring the mountains and knows many great spots.

My recent photography workshop in the mountains of Patagonia was a simply unforgettable and transformative experience. It was my second trip to Patagonia, and this time I was looking for an opportunity to really immerse myself in the raw nature of the region with a focus on photography. And that is exactly what I found! Our instructor, Ramiro, was an amazing and very knowledgeable photographer. But more than that, his passion for it, and for the natural world around us, was contagious. He took us to breathtaking locations we never would have found on our own, ensuring we were always at the perfect spot to capture incredible photos. I have attended two workshops in Patagonia led by Ramiro, and both experiences were exceptionally enriching. Despite returning to the same location, I knew I would gain even more from a second trip due to Ramiro’s expertise. Ramiro is an exceptionally talented photographer and teacher, as well as a charismatic workshop leader. He offers personalized instruction tailored to each participant’s skill level, working with a wide range of equipment from smartphones to high-end cameras, and covering both photos and video. His extensive knowledge of Patagonia, combined with his thorough preparation and contingency plans for weather-related issues, ensures a seamless and educational experience for all attendees. Participating in this workshop in Patagonia has been a real blast, it was definitely worth the time and the money! General organization (food, hotel, guide, porters) were perfect to me. Patagonian sceneries during autumn are absolutely stunning and unmissable. On top of that, Ramiro knows the place really well and he made it easy to find good shooting spots. Ramiro was always available to us help improve/adjust/discuss any photography related matters. For sure, my skills improved a lot after that. Before signing up, just be aware that: (I) It is a photography with wild-camping and hiking. It means that you should be ready for a bit of walking and adventure. (II) Weather in Patagonia can be a bit tricky: you never know what you’re gonna get. Once you know that, you should definitely sign-up 🙂
